Privacy Policy of the rakietycamps.pl Website and the Rakiety Camps Mobile Application

We care about your privacy. Below you will find full information about what data we collect, for what purposes, and how we protect it – both in connection with using our website and the Rakiety Camps Mobile Application.

§ 1. Data Controller

  1. The controller of your personal data is Rakiety sp. z o.o., registered at ul. Wał Miedzeszyński 646 bud. 2, 03-994 Warsaw, Poland, VAT ID: PL1133048035 (hereinafter: the “Controller” or “Operator”).

§ 2. Sources and Scope of Data Processed

The Controller processes personal data obtained directly from you in the following situations:

a) Contact Form on www.rakietycamps.pl

  • first and last name,
  • email address or phone number (at least one of the two),
  • content of the enquiry.

b) Rakiety Camps Mobile Application

  • email address,
  • phone number.

Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to use the relevant service.

§ 3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Data Processing

  1. Handling contact enquiries – Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR (taking steps prior to entering into a contract, or the legitimate interest of the Controller in responding to enquiries from potential clients).
  2. Performance of the contract for participation in a trip (padel camp) – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (necessity for the performance of a contract).
  3. Managing accounts in the Mobile Application and providing digital services – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  4. Marketing of own services and trips – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), where you have consented to marketing communications.
  5. Fulfilment of legal obligations (e.g. tax, accounting) – Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

§ 4. Data Retention Periods

  1. Data from the Contact Form is retained for the period necessary to respond to the enquiry, and thereafter – if a contract is concluded – for the duration of its performance and the period required by law (e.g. 5 years for tax purposes).
  2. Mobile Application account data is retained for the duration of active use of the Application and for up to 12 months after cessation of use, or until a deletion request is submitted.
  3. Data processed on the basis of legitimate interest is retained until an objection is raised or that interest ceases to exist.

§ 5. Recipients of Personal Data

Your data may be shared only with trusted entities with whom the Controller cooperates in order to provide services:

  • IT infrastructure providers (hosting, servers, email systems),
  • entities operating communication and push notification systems (in respect of the Mobile Application),
  • accounting firms or law firms – solely to the extent necessary to fulfil legal obligations,
  • logistics and hotel partners in connection with trip organisation – solely data necessary for booking and carrying out the camp.

Data is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

§ 6. Transfers of Data Outside the European Economic Area

  1. As a rule, the Controller processes data within the European Economic Area (EEA).
  2. Where we use services of providers outside the EEA (e.g. global cloud platforms), we ensure appropriate safeguards through the use of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other mechanisms provided for under the GDPR.

§ 7. Your Rights

You have the following rights in connection with the processing of your personal data:

  1. Right of access – you may obtain information about what data we process about you.
  2. Right to rectification – you may request correction of inaccurate or completion of incomplete data.
  3. Right to erasure – you may request deletion of your data in the cases provided for by the GDPR.
  4. Right to restriction of processing – you may request that processing of your data be suspended.
  5. Right to data portability – you may receive your data in a structured format.
  6. Right to object – you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  7. Right to withdraw consent – where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland, if you consider that the processing of your data violates the GDPR.

§ 8. Cookies

  1. The www.rakietycamps.pl website uses cookies – small text files stored by your browser on your device.
  2. We use the following types of cookies:
    • necessary – required for the proper functioning of the Website,
    • analytical – used to analyse traffic and user behaviour (e.g. Google Analytics),
    • marketing – used to display tailored content, where you have given your consent.
  3. You may give or withdraw consent to analytical and marketing cookies via the cookie banner displayed on your first visit to the Website.
  4. You may also manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling all cookies may affect the availability of certain Website features.

§ 9. Data Security

  1. The Controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or destruction, including connection encryption (HTTPS) and access controls for data processing systems.
  2. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised persons who are bound by a duty of confidentiality.

§ 10. Mobile Application – Additional Information

  1. The Rakiety Camps Mobile Application is available on the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Google). The terms of use of those platforms also apply during installation and use of the Application.
  2. The Mobile Application may use push notifications. You may disable notifications in your device settings.
  3. Data processed in the Mobile Application (email address, phone number) is used solely to identify the Camp Participant and provide them with services related to their trip.
  4. The Mobile Application does not collect location data, biometric data or behavioural data beyond the scope necessary for its proper functioning.

§ 11. Links to External Websites

  1. The Website may contain links to external websites (e.g. social media, partners). This Privacy Policy does not cover those websites.
  2. The Controller encourages you to review the privacy policies of external websites before providing them with your data.

§ 12. Changes to the Privacy Policy

  1. The Controller reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy, in particular in the event of changes in law or the way data is processed.
  2. Users will be informed of significant changes via a notice on the Website or in the Mobile Application.
  3. The current version of the Privacy Policy is always available at www.rakietycamps.pl/privacy-policy.
